Tennessee Titans sign former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Jaylon Jones

The Tennessee Titans signed former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Jaylon Jones on September 10, 2026. The move pairs the 24-year-old defensive back with Tennessee defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, who previously coached him in Indianapolis. Jones, a 2023 seventh-round draft pick, recorded 29 starts during his three seasons with the Colts. After an initial tenure that featured 27 starts in his first two years, his playing time decreased under defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo last season. Although Jones participated in the recent preseason, he was released by Indianapolis to accommodate backup offensive tackle Luke Tenuta on the roster. He went unclaimed off league waivers before securing this deal with the AFC South rival. He joins the Titans as they look to integrate his experience into their secondary coverage scheme.
