Tennessee to host exhibition game against Xavier in October

Tennessee basketball will host Xavier for an exhibition game on October 15 at Food City Center. This will be the first of two exhibition contests for the Vols, who are also scheduled to face Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium on October 20. Tennessee has a historical advantage in their matchup against Xavier, leading the all-time series 12-5 and winning seven of eight games played in Knoxville. The last meeting between the teams occurred on November 29, 2013, when Tennessee won 64-49.
