Tennessee volleyball draws record crowd in straight sets win over Illinois

No. 22 Tennessee improved to 4-0 on the season with a 25-19, 25-17, 25-11 victory over Illinois on Tuesday at the Food City Center. The match drew 8,212 spectators, establishing a new attendance record for the program. This figure eclipsed the previous high of 7,924 set during the season opener against Colgate on August 28. Kennedi Rogers paced the offense with 14 kills, while Caroline Kerr contributed 38 assists to maintain a.422 team hitting percentage. Jalyn Stout earned her first double-double as a Lady Vol with 10 kills and 11 digs. The team will continue its schedule on September 6 against Indiana at Bridgestone Arena in the Broadway Block Party.
