Tennessee has decided to start quarterback George MacIntyre for their upcoming game against Arkansas on October 7, 2026. This will be MacIntyre's first career start after stepping in for Faizon Brandon during last week's game against Auburn. He completed 8 of 10 passes for 86 yards, contributing to a win that improved Tennessee's record to 4-1. Brandon struggled with injuries, particularly a shoulder issue sustained in a previous game against Texas, prompting the change. MacIntyre will now face an Arkansas team that has been struggling this season.
