Teoscar Hernandez hits walk-off double for Dodgers in 3-2 victory

Teoscar Hernandez delivered a two-run walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth inning to secure a 3-2 victory for the Los Angeles Dodgers over the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers trailed for much of the game after the Cardinals scored in the first and third innings. Los Angeles struggled to produce offensively for most of the night, failing to drive in runs with runners in scoring position until the final frame. Starter Tarik Skubal allowed 10 hits over 5.2 innings but kept the deficit manageable before the bullpen combined for 3.1 scoreless innings. Tommy Edman contributed four hits to the Dodgers' effort, while Shohei Ohtani sat out the contest for rest. The Dodgers continue their homestand Friday with the first of three games against the Washington Nationals.
