Terron Armstead reflects on his challenging start with the Saints

Terron Armstead was honored as a member of the New Orleans Saints' 2026 Hall of Fame class this week. During his introduction, he discussed the struggles he faced as a rookie in 2013, including doubt from then-coach Sean Payton. Armstead, a third-round draft pick, recalled feeling lost during his early practices and having to prove his worth to the coaching staff. He went on to have a successful nine-year career with the Saints, making three Pro Bowl selections and earning All-Pro honors in 2018. The official induction ceremony is scheduled to take place later this season.
