Terry Jefferson appointed cornerbacks coach for Hurricanes

Terry Jefferson has been promoted to cornerbacks coach for the Miami Hurricanes, following his work as a defensive assistant. Head coach Mario Cristobal informed him of the decision, which Jefferson described as a surreal experience. The cornerbacks group is regarded as one of the strongest units on the team, returning all key players from the previous season. Jefferson previously coached at Jacksonville State after a stint as a defensive analyst at Miami. He aims to build on the success of his players, many of whom regard him as a motivator and mentor.
