Tevita Pangai Junior intends to leave English club Hull KR at the end of the current season to pursue a playing opportunity in the NRL. The 30-year-old forward has struggled through a disrupted 2026 campaign in the Super League, appearing in only five matches for the Robins. His time in England included two separate disciplinary suspensions, including a six-game ban in June and a five-game penalty following a match against Warrington. A former NSW Blues representative, Pangai Junior has played for the Brisbane Broncos, Penrith Panthers, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, and the Dolphins during his career. He was a member of the Panthers side that won the 2021 premiership and has amassed 147 total NRL appearances. He now aims to secure a new contract in Australia to continue his professional playing career.
