Texans bring back Jadeveon Clowney on one-year deal
Summary

The Houston Texans have announced the return of Jadeveon Clowney on a one-year contract worth $5.5 million, with incentives that could raise the total to $8 million. Clowney’s past engagement with the team as the first overall pick in 2014 and his tumultuous exit in 2019 have elicited mixed reactions from fans. While some express nostalgia and optimism regarding his veteran presence, others remain skeptical due to his previous performance and multiple team changes since leaving Houston. Clowney aims to contribute as a rotational defender alongside Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter in the Texans' defensive lineup.
