Texans running back Joshua Pitsenberger limps off against Chargers

Houston Texans running back Joshua Pitsenberger left the field limping during their preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. The injury occurred with 2:31 remaining, after he gained five yards on a handoff. Pitsenberger's exit compounded the Texans' troubles in a game where they were already trailing and missing key players. He finished the game with 33 yards on nine carries. Both starting backs, David Montgomery and Woody Marks, were rested, and injuries to British Brooks and Jawhar Jordan may force the Texans to consider other options as the preseason progresses.
