Texans sign DE Derek Parish after Horton injury

The Houston Texans have signed defensive end Derek Parish to their 90-man roster following the loss of Dylan Horton to a torn Achilles. The Texans placed Horton and linebacker Marte Mapu on injured reserve. Parish, a seventh-round pick by the Jaguars in 2023, has played for the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL and the DC Defenders in the UFL this spring, where he recorded 23 tackles and three sacks.
