Texans sign Mario Edwards and Sione Takitaki on August 2

The Texas have announced the signing of defensive lineman Mario Edwards and linebacker Sione Takitaki. Edwards, who returned after being released in March, recorded 13 tackles and 1.5 sacks last season before suffering a torn pectoral muscle. Takitaki's addition comes as a response to linebacker Jake Hansen's indefinite absence due to an ankle injury. The Texans made room for these signings by waiving running back Evan Hull and offensive tackle Derrick Graham.
