Texas A&M LB Daymion Sanford on track for season opener

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko provided an update on linebacker Daymion Sanford during a Tuesday media availability, stating that he could be ready for the season opener against Missouri State on September 5. Sanford, who suffered a serious leg injury during the Maroon & White Game, has shown significant progress and is participating in fall camp. Elko noted that while Sanford is improving, he has milestones to reach before he can return to full practice.
