Texas A&M pays Missouri State 1.2 million dollars for upcoming football game

Texas A&M hosts Missouri State on September 5 in College Station. The Aggies are scheduled to pay the Bears 1.2 million dollars for the contest. This matchup marks the first time the two programs have met in school history. Missouri State enters its second season as an FBS member following a previous game against USC that paid 1.15 million dollars. Head coach Casey Woods is eligible for a 15,000 dollar bonus if his team manages to secure a victory over the Power Four opponent. Texas A&M also holds a contract to play The Citadel on October 17, which carries a 600,000 dollar payment.
