Texas adds four-star defender Jabarrius Garror to 2027 class

The Texas Longhorns continued building their defensive line for the 2027 football class by securing a commitment from four-star prospect Jabarrius Garror on June 12, 2026. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound edge rusher, who recorded 106 tackles and 21 sacks during his junior year at Vigor High School in Mobile, Alabama, chose Texas over Auburn, Georgia, and Florida State. Garror had initially committed to Alabama in 2024 but reopened his recruitment earlier this spring, culminating in his decision to join the Longhorns and bolster their already strong defensive talent.
