Colin Simmons of the Texas Longhorns was sidelined in the second half against the UTSA Roadrunners on September 19, 2026. The junior edge rusher suffered a possible foot injury after being blocked late in the first half. Simmons recorded one sack before leaving the game in a boot for precautionary reasons, according to head coach Steve Sarkisian.
