Texas hosts Ohio State as ESPN College GameDay visits the campus

The University of Texas campus in Austin is hosting No. 1 Ohio State ahead of their upcoming college football matchup. As part of the event preparations, ESPN College GameDay set up operations on the university grounds. The visit coincides with a series of student-focused fitness activations led by CELSIUS Energy Drinks. These activities included a combine featuring athletic testing and a 5K run club event held on the South Mall. The promotional campaign is part of a national partnership between the drink brand and the broadcast program, which has previously visited campuses in Baton Rouge and will head to Oxford next week. Weather conditions reached temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit before rain arrived in the afternoon.
