Texas hosts Ole Miss in primetime matchup on October 24

No. 7 Texas will face No. 9 Ole Miss at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on October 24 at 6:30 p.m. Central, as announced by the SEC. Texas is looking to rebound from a recent 27-24 loss to Oklahoma, while Ole Miss, sitting at 4-1 after a win over Vanderbilt, prepares for a homecoming game this week against No. 13 Missouri. Historically, Texas has a 6-1 edge in the all-time series against Ole Miss, not including a vacated 2013 win by Ole Miss. This will mark their first meeting since Texas joined the SEC in 2024.
