Texas keeps left guard rotation for upcoming game against Ohio State

No. 4 Texas continues to use a rotation at left guard ahead of its matchup against No. 1 Ohio State this Saturday at Royal-Memorial Stadium. Head coach Steve Sarkisian confirmed that Dylan Sikorski and Laurence Seymore III will share snaps at the position during the early portion of the season. Sikorski started in the team's 59-7 win over Texas State, recording 33 total snaps, while Seymore played 36 snaps as he regained fitness following a preseason lower-body injury. The coaching staff intends to evaluate the pair's performance as the team looks to improve its interior run blocking. Texas recorded 147 yards on 31 designed carries in its season opener, though the offense struggled to find consistency on the ground outside of a few long runs. Kickoff for the meeting between the two programs is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
