Easton Royal, a 5-star wide receiver commit for the Texas Longhorns, is predicted to flip to LSU. This development comes from Rivals' Sam Spiegelman, who notes that Royal stands as the No. 5 player in the 2027 class. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound prospect from New Orleans has been committed to Texas since last November. He took an official visit to LSU earlier this summer, raising concerns about his commitment to the Longhorns, who currently hold the No. 6 recruiting class for 2027. Losing Royal could drop Texas out of the top 10.
