Texas Longhorns open new 70 million dollar football training complex

Texas Athletics held an official grand opening for the Frank and Wofford Denius Texas Football Training Complex on September 4, 2026. The new facility is located south of Royal-Memorial Stadium on the former site of the Steve Hicks School of Social Work. It replaces the previous practice venues, known as Denius Field and the bubble. The project carries a 70 million dollar valuation and was unveiled one day before the team's season opener.
