Texas Longhorns secure fifth Directors' Cup in six years

The University of Texas has won its fifth NACDA Learfield Directors' Cup, awarded for overall athletic performance. The Longhorns clinched the title on June 12, 2026, after their track and field team finished in 26th place at the NCAA Men's Outdoor Track and Field finals, bringing their total to 1291.5 points. This victory reinforces Texas's dominance, as they have secured the Directors' Cup five times in the last six years under Athletic Director Chris Del Conte. Their achievements include national championships in women's softball, men's swimming and diving, and women's rowing. Texas's athletic program has accumulated 18 national titles since Del Conte's appointment in 2017.
