Texas Longhorns secure top-five recruiting class for 2027

The Texas Longhorns have bolstered their 2027 recruiting class, now ranked fifth nationally, following a successful summer. The program secured 11 commitments in June, including eight blue-chip prospects, and added two more in July. A highlight includes five-star cornerback John Meredith, the cycle's second overall prospect, who chose Texas over Texas A&M. Other key commitments include five-star receiver Easton Royal and five-star interior lineman Ismael Camara. With 22 total commits, Texas ranks second in the SEC, trailing only Texas A&M.
