Texas men’s tennis receives two ITA National Awards for 2026

Texas men's tennis player Sebastian Gorzny has been named the ITA Senior Player of the Year, while assistant coach Benjamin Becker received the ITA Assistant Coach of the Year award. Both recognitions follow a successful season for the Longhorns, which included an NCAA National Runner-Up finish and an ITA Indoors National Championship. Gorzny, an ITA All-American, ranked No. 2 in the nation and was also named the Most Outstanding Player at the ITA National Indoor Championships. This marks the third time in four years a Texas player has secured the Senior Player of the Year honor.
