Texas splits two matches at the Players Era Volleyball Showcase

The Texas Longhorns volleyball team competed in two matches at the Players Era Volleyball Showcase held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Texas faced TCU on August 29 and Nebraska on August 30. The Longhorns defeated TCU in three sets to open their series at the event. Texas subsequently lost to Nebraska, which swept the match on Sunday. These contests against 2025 NCAA Tournament qualifiers provided the team with competitive experience early in the season. The event drew attention at the T-Mobile Arena as part of the showcase schedule.
