Texas Tech adds Jeff Cottrill and Shelby Pendley to softball staff

Texas Tech softball announced the hiring of Jeff Cottrill and Shelby Pendley on July 27. Cottrill joins from the University of Houston, and Pendley is a former all-American from Arizona and Oklahoma. They replace departed coaches Hunter Veach and Kayla Kowalik. Texas Tech has had back-to-back Women's College World Series runner-up finishes and aims to build on its recent success with this new coaching staff.
