Texas Tech is scheduled to receive a $300,000 appearance fee for its non-conference game against Oregon State on Saturday, Sept. 12. The matchup at Reser Stadium in Corvallis serves as the second half of a two-game series between the programs. Under the terms of the agreement, the payment from Oregon State to Texas Tech is due by Dec. 31. The Red Raiders previously hosted the Beavers in Lubbock during the 2025 season, when Texas Tech paid Oregon State $300,000 as part of the contract. The deal was originally signed in May 2018 while both programs were under different leadership. Big 12 officials were assigned to oversee the 2026 meeting in Corvallis, following a rotation that utilized Pac-12 officials for the prior game in the series.
