Logan Hughes and Tracer Lopez from Texas Tech baseball were named to the NCBWA all-America second team on June 10. Hughes achieved third-team recognition from Perfect Game, following a standout season where he hit.375 with 18 home runs and 70 RBIs. Lopez batted.370 with a home run and 39 RBIs, tying for the Big 12 lead in doubles. Texas Tech finished their season with a record of 27-28, ending with a 10-20 mark in the Big 12.
