Texas women's basketball schedules games against Duke and UCLA in Las Vegas

The Texas women's basketball team will return to the Players Era Women's Basketball Showcase in Las Vegas this December. The Longhorns are scheduled to play Duke on December 19 at the Michelob ULTRA Arena, followed by a matchup against UCLA the next day. Texas, which finished last season with a 35-4 record and a Final Four appearance, claimed the inaugural tournament title in 2025 by defeating UCLA and South Carolina. This year’s field for the showcase also includes South Carolina, Notre Dame, and USC. Beyond the Las Vegas event, Texas and UCLA are set for a preseason exhibition game in Cedar Park on October 25. The matchup with Duke marks a reunion for the program, as former Texas guard Aaliyah Crump currently plays for the Blue Devils.
