The Bisciotti Family Foundation funds scholarships at Morgan State University

The Bisciotti Family Foundation announced a new commitment of up to $3 million to support students at Morgan State University. This grant, covering the period from 2026 through 2033, funds the ongoing Ozzie Newsome Scholars Program. The program will provide financial assistance to 40 students, with 10 individuals selected from each of the next four incoming classes. Each scholarship recipient is eligible to receive $15,000 annually for up to five years. While the original 2021 initiative included Bowie State, Coppin State, and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, future scholarship efforts will focus exclusively on Morgan State. Current scholars at the other institutions will continue to receive their previously promised support.
