The Buffalo Bills are releasing safety Geno Stone

The Buffalo Bills plan to release safety Geno Stone, who joined the organization on a one-year contract following his departure from the Cincinnati Bengals. Stone spent the previous two seasons in Cincinnati, where he recorded two career pick-sixes, including a 33-yard touchdown against New England last year. His tenure with the Bengals included public scrutiny regarding his on-field tackling performance. Upon signing with Buffalo in March, Stone characterized the move as a professional decision aimed at joining a winning culture, though he maintained that he held no animosity toward his former organization. Before his time in Cincinnati, the 27-year-old safety played his first four NFL seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
