Spears' later refusal to tag in during a tag team match resulted in a significant defeat, culminating in a chokeslam through the announce desk by Niko Vance, indicating his ejection from the faction. This is the second instance of The Culling turning on a member, following the expulsion of Tatum Paxley last November.
