The Indianapolis Colts select five players as team captains for 2026

Jones and Buckner enter the season with eight-year streaks as NFL captains, while Nelson maintains his six-year tenure with the team. Taylor earns his third selection, and Bynum receives the honor for the first time in his career. In addition to his leadership role, Bynum will handle defensive playcalling responsibilities on the field until rookie linebacker CJ Allen is prepared to manage the duties.
