The New York Jets work out Will Levis and Jack Plummer

The New York Jets held workouts for quarterbacks Will Levis and Jack Plummer on Thursday. The team is currently seeking an additional arm for its practice squad rather than the active 53-man roster. The Jets' current quarterback room features Geno Smith and rookie Cade Klubnik, but the team lacks a third option for the practice unit. Levis, a 2023 second-round pick by the Tennessee Titans, was released during final roster cuts this year following an injury-plagued tenure. Plummer, an undrafted player who spent time with the Carolina Panthers, has yet to appear in an NFL game. New York is evaluating both players as potential additions to improve depth at the position.
