The main card of tonight’s (June 28) Forbidden Door pay-per-view kicked off with cross promotional 3-way tag team action between AEW’s Young Bucks, CMLL’s Sky Team (Mistico & Mascara Dorada), and NJPW’s Unbound Co. (Shingo Takagi & Titan). A lot of fans wanted to see what would happen when the Bucks collided with Sky Team for the first time ever, and they did not disappoint. Mistico eventually locked in his La Mistica finisher on Takagi, but the Bucks broke it up. Matt and Nick also broke up the pin after Titan landed a top rope stomp on Sky Team. The finishing sequence saw the Bucks and Dorada catch Titan in mid-air. AEW commentators indicated the Bucks will use this win to get back into the mix for the AEW world tag team championship, which is currently held by fka Edge and Christian.
