Thirteen former Louisville players secure roster spots in NFL

Following the league-wide roster deadline on Sunday, 13 former Louisville Cardinals players secured positions on NFL 53-man rosters. Wide receiver Chris Bell, drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round, made the active roster after being activated from the non-football injury list. Other former Cardinals players to make squads include quarterback Lamar Jackson with the Baltimore Ravens, defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins with the Houston Texans, and outside linebacker Yaya Diaby with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
