Thomas Pannone threw a perfect game for the Nashville Sounds on Monday night in a 3-0 victory against the Durham Bulls. The 32-year-old pitcher recorded eight strikeouts and induced 10 groundball outs throughout the nine-inning performance. He required 94 pitches to complete the game, resulting in a Maddux. Pannone has spent time in several organizations, including the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, before returning to the Milwaukee Brewers system this season. This marks the first perfect game by a single pitcher in the minor leagues since 2017. Pannone, who has experience in the Korea Baseball Organization, currently plays for the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
