Thomas Schneider moves on from Belgium coaching role after Tedesco departure

Thomas Schneider, assistant coach for Germany's 2014 World Cup squad, has left his position with the Belgium national team following the dismissal of head coach Domenico Tedesco in January 2025. Schneider had been serving as Tedesco's assistant after transitioning from the German national team, where he worked from 2014 to 2018 and then as head of scouting. Currently, Schneider is not affiliated with any club or national team. At 53 years old, he may resume coaching soon.
