Thousands participate in 45th annual Hotter ’N Hell Hundred cycling event

Over 7,500 cyclists are participating in the 45th annual Hotter ’N Hell Hundred in Wichita Falls, Texas, focusing on routes ranging from 25 to 100 miles. The event, which has become a community staple, draws riders from across the country who dedicate time to prepare for the challenges. Many participants share personal motivations, including family traditions and charitable causes. Although the event has seen about 5,000 riders cross the finish line, medical staff treated approximately 94 patients, with six taken to the hospital for non-critical issues. Cyclists expressed eagerness for next year's event as they completed their rides.
