Three former Longhorns sign first NFL deals with Miami Dolphins

Trey Moore, DJ Campbell, and Michael Taaffe have signed their first NFL contracts with the Miami Dolphins as of June 2, 2026. The trio, drafted earlier this year, is expected to contribute significantly to the team in the future. Taaffe, picked in the fifth round, was a walk-on who emerged as a key player at Texas, recording 222 tackles. Moore, a fourth-round selection, finished with 9.5 sacks, while Campbell, drafted in the sixth round, was part of an award-winning offensive line. With the NFL season months away, they aim to transition successfully from college to professional play.
