Three Orange athletes qualify for NCAA Championships in Eugene

Three Syracuse athletes have advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track Championships in Eugene, set for June 10. Elijah Mallard broke his school record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 49.11, finishing 8th at the NCAA Outdoor Track East Regional. Jamir Brown tied his school record in the 110m hurdles and placed 2nd, while Benne Anderson finished 2nd in his heat in the 1500m with a time of 3:42.70, earning an automatic qualifier. Unfortunately, no Syracuse women qualified for the Championships, with several finishing outside the qualifying spots.
