Thunder trade Aaron Wiggins to Hawks for future draft picks

The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded guard Aaron Wiggins to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for two second-round picks, as reported by ESPN. The Thunder will receive the Hawks' 2030 second-round pick and the lesser of the Hawks' or Lakers' second-round pick in 2032. This move comes ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft, where the Thunder are expected to make three selections, including the 12th overall pick. The trade also provides significant luxury tax relief for Oklahoma City, reducing their projected penalty from $213 million to $152 million. Wiggins averaged 9.4 points and 3.1 rebounds last season and had been outside of the Thunder's playoff rotation by the end of the year.
