Tiffany Stratton proposes return of her daddy’s girl gimmick in WWE

Tiffany Stratton is the current women’s United States champion in WWE, but it seems pretty clear that she is less over in 2026 than she was in early 2025. To prove the point, I’ll note that Tiffy Time was in the WWE women’s championship match one year ago at WrestleMania 41, but she didn’t even make the cut for this year’s WrestleMania 42 card. Earlier this year, Stratton admitted that her character is stale, and indicated that she wants to go back to being a heel. With that in mind, Tiffany is now talking about maybe bringing back her rich daddy’s girl gimmick from NXT 2.0. In an interview with KFAN’s Maxx Fuller, Stratton said NXT head honcho Shawn Michaels veered away from it there because they didn’t have a daddy for her. Maybe it’s time for that to change on the WWE main roster. “Yeah, it’s kind of just like, you send in the pitch and you move on, and hope they go with it. But honestly, I may re-pitch the daddy’s little rich girl stuff. The reason why HBK didn’t want to go with it, I think, was because they just didn’t have a daddy for me. There was never a payoff so, maybe I could have a daddy now on SmackDown, and [there can be] a payoff.” Do you think it is a disaster waiting to happen if WWE finds a daddy for Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown, or is this exactly what she needs to get hot again on the main roster?
