Tiffany Stratton suggests Paul Heyman as her WWE character's 'daddy

Last month, United States Champion Tiffany Stratton said she was interested in a main roster gimmick change where she goes back to being a rich daddy’s girl. She said the main problem with the gimmick in NXT is that WWE didn’t have anybody in mind to play the role of her daddy. In a recent interview on the Battleground Podcast, Stratton solved that problem by naming Paul Heyman as the perfect daddy for her in WWE. “I have seen what Paul Heyman has done for people. I definitely feel like he would be a wise man to have in my corner. So, I think Paul Heyman could take me to that next level, and obviously he’s helped make so many talent. But yeah, I would say Paul Heyman. I think he would be the perfect character to fill that daddy role. I mean, I wouldn’t say I’d have to call him my rich daddy. It could be that gimmick, but in a different way. It wouldn’t have to be like I’m this spoiled daddy’s little rich girl. But I definitely think Heyman would fit that role perfectly.” By the end of her answer, it’s almost like Stratton realizes Heyman playing the role of a rich daddy doesn’t really work. Yet she knows how good Heyman is for the careers of most wrestlers he’s aligned with, so she sticks with her choice anyway.
