Tigers achieve top-four finish at NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene

The Missouri Tigers concluded their 2026 track and field season with a strong performance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships held from June 10-11 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Valentina Barrios Bornacelli secured fourth place in the women’s javelin throw with a mark of 57.17 meters, earning First Team All-American honors. Skylar Ciccolini finished 19th in the same event while also winning an NCAA Walter Byers Graduate Scholarship. Sam Innes participated in the men’s hammer throw, placing 23rd overall with a throw of 63.01 meters. As the season wraps up, the Tigers are turning their focus to offseason recruitment efforts, having already signed distance runner Evyn Humphrey from the transfer portal.
