Tigers activate Kenley Jansen, DFA Zack Short in roster moves

The Detroit Tigers announced a series of roster changes before their game on June 12. They activated reliever Kenley Jansen from the injured list and selected the contract of Jacob Waguespack from Triple-A Toledo. Outfielder James Outman was claimed off waivers from the Twins. To make room for Outman on the 40-man roster, shortstop Zack Short was designated for assignment. The Tigers also sent bullpen pitchers Brenan Hanifee and Beau Brieske back to Triple-A. Manager AJ Hinch confirmed that Casey Mize will be activated on June 13 and start in the series against the Guardians.
