The Detroit Tigers have claimed right-hander Andre Granillo off waivers from the Washington Nationals and assigned him to Triple-A Toledo on July 11, 2026. Granillo, 26, was added to fill the open spot on the Tigers’ 40-man roster after outfielder Jahmai Jones was designated for assignment. The right-hander has struggled this season, pitching in eight games for the Nationals with a 9.31 ERA. He also had a difficult stint in Triple-A with a 6.82 ERA in 31.2 innings at Rochester.
