Tigers face key decision on Tarik Skubal's future before trade deadline

Summary

The Detroit Tigers sit at 50-57 and are evaluating whether to trade pitcher Tarik Skubal before the deadline. Skubal, a two-time Cy Young winner, is still performing at a high level and could be a significant asset for any contending team. With the Tigers currently six games behind in the A.L. Central, they must weigh their near-term competitiveness against potential long-term benefits of trading their star pitcher. An MLB Reacts survey is gauging public opinion on whether the Tigers will move Skubal prior to the deadline.
