Tigers fall to Wildcats 2-1 in SEC home opener

Missouri Tigers soccer hosted the Kentucky Wildcats on September 18 during an SEC home opener but lost 2-1 at Walton Stadium. Kentucky opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a goal from Nadia Ramadan. Although Missouri managed to create more dangerous shots in the second half, a goal from Kyla Dawn in the 75th minute extended Kentucky's lead to 2-0. Rylie Morse scored a free kick in the 88th minute to narrow the deficit, but Missouri could not equalize. The Tigers are now 0-2 in SEC play and will face Auburn on September 24.
