The Detroit Tigers defeated the Minnesota Twins 11-0 on Thursday. Spencer Torkelson led the offense with a two-run homer, one of six hit by the Tigers in the game. Colt Keith, Gleyber Torres, Riley Greene, Zach McKinstry, and Wenceel Pérez also contributed home runs. Starting pitcher Keider Montero allowed four hits over 6 1/3 innings. With this game complete, the Tigers will face the Cleveland Guardians next, while the Twins prepare for the St. Louis Cardinals.
